Huh, I've learned something in the revision process.
Found some places to improve in something that's already good, but can be excellent with an easy tweak.

Sounds like 2 of the 6 chapters are good enough to pass right now, per adviser, who will be the toughest critic anyway, since she has to make sure it's passable before the rest see it. Probably a 3rd is ready, and the others aren't too far.

I'm reading my own writing and happy. That's like real progress happening.

The campus is beautiful, I'll tell you that. Not nearly as "middle of a peaceful corn field" as ISU, but quite pretty. I only saw U of M's campus in Feb and I think it was the smaller side - wherever ag stuff is. So I probably didn't get a good look at whether it's actually pretty.

Yeah, I think I prefer Iowa State's campus, but for being in the middle of a city it's really nice and you can feel removed
