I don't know. My brother texted me at 0530 this morning to tell me Jim Cantore was broadcasting on The Weather Channel from in front of Target Center. That guy is bad luck; bad weather seems to follow him. He is a regular Joe Btfsplk.

Dang Lil' Abner reference nice job Velo.

Ran into caseys to grab a coffee, wanted different from what I have at home. Saw a local meth head exchanging out an LP tank. I happened to be thinking to myself, hey since the whole families home, why don't I fire up the grill and make some burgers for everyone.

I have to confess I keep looking outside into the light snow looking for my cookie tray teddy gal. Such much disappointment so far.

Did get a FB from a couple gal friends worried that I will die in Mexico next month.
Are you changing things up this year and going to Ciudad Juarez instead of Cancun?

I'd pay good money to watch BC order a Venti, Skinny Caramel Macchiato. Heck, I'd pay good money to watch me order something like that.

Don't even know what that is. I always order a grande Latte no flavor with soy milk (lactose intolerance forced here) since thats what the only stuff I know when I get drugged into high end coffee shops.

About a week ago, we went to the movie. I dropped the family off at the theater and went to Caribou to get a coffee for my wife. It cost $5.80!

I buy a full can of Folgers to use in my little coffee maker in my office and it lasts about 2 months. The last can I bought was on sale for $5.90, less the 5% Redcard discount, less the 20% Cartwheel discount, less the 10% employee discount (my daughter was with me) and that ends up being about $4.03. That one cup of coffee ended up costing as much as nearly 3 months worth of coffee for me.

I just drink Joe although I must admit enjoying the homemade real Irish creme Mrs. Velo got for Christmas from a coworker. Luckily for me Mrs. Velo doesn't partake of the juice of the bean.\

EDIT: JC beat me to it. He just drinks the Joe as well. Now I suppose he is going to say he brings his lunch every day like I do too. I guess we are just cheap mofos.

My employer just sent out an email saying that things are getting very slick and that facilities is working to get salt and sand out. The email included a link saying "Click here to acknowledge receipt of this email". Two reasons I am not clicking that 1. For some odd reason it is not from a company email address 2. Like hell I am going to give up your liability if I slip and fall on the way out to my car.

It seems odd that it wouldn't be a company email. Have they ever sent out weather warnings before? Almost seems like your being fished.

I generally order a dark roast with skim milk. It's not so much that the other stuff doesn't look or taste good. It's more so about the fact that my kids will say, "They have all this great stuff on the menu and you choose black coffee?"

I generally pick up skyway lunch about once a month. I think that means I bring my lunch, pretty much, everyday.

A small bowl of leftover spaghetti, salad, an orange and an individual bag of Doritos today.

Was supposed to meet with a guy today. The further east I went the worse it got, in the end I just called and rescheduled, probably could have done it but it was ok with both of us to just reschedule.

I use a keurig at home with the cheapest medium roast I can get. Too lazy for grounds and pot clean up. I got one of their fake capucinnos today.

I do the same on weekends.

To be honest, I do occasionally put a little of my wife's salted caramel cream in the cup if I'm feeling a bit rebellious.

I usually drink tea, but drink cheap Folgers black. Once in a blue moon get a crappy cappuccino from Casey’s.

Wife had me finish prepping some lunch she made while showering. Kids and wife grabbed some while I typed my last couple posts here. Got up, looked at the pan and made myself a turkey and ham sandwich (with cheese).
