Now I had to go to Youtube and listen to more songs from Free For All. Been a long time since I listened to those. I still love them.
Rulzzz, it's too bad your Rockies aren't playing in the World Series to honor your birthday. Maybe next year.........

For your birthday, I will not post in the Game Day thread. Had a really busy weekend of Oklahoma game and didn't post. Given the results, I haven't posted since. You're welcome. Cause voodoo mojo is a thing.

Before the Rockies were in existence, i was a Twins fan. Kirby was my guy. Twins won the 91 world series and game 7 was on my Birthday. Still probably one of my best presents.
I attended Game 1 of the '91 Series, Morris vs. Leibrandt, Gagne hit a 3-run dinger and Hrbek a solo. My buddy and I got offered $500 for our tickets outside, we declined. Best decision I ever made. Too much fun. Best Series ever IMHO.
And Game 7 was absolutely the best baseball ever. 1-0 in 10 innings, Morris pitches all 10. Can't remember how many nerve-wracking innings there were, but just fantastic. A great birthday present indeed!
Really though, it was a Song for a Winter's Night, don't you think? It was Gord's Gold, pure gold, I tell ya!
Friday night without scifi is kinda lacking. 
Getting up early and making a gameday decision whether to ride down for the game. Got a ride so all I have to do is get over to south Mpls before 8:30 and plant my ass in the backseat of buddies car. Would need to scalp a ticket, just one so how hard could that be?

Since all you have to do is ride might as well take a bottle of wine with you so you'll have some anti-freeze in you before the game
. Work weekend for me so I'm hoping to finish up before the game.
