I told our landlord that the oven was taking longer to warm up to the correct temperature. I was told today that we are getting a new oven. Yay! Talk about fast turn around time.

Got home from work & PapaLew had blown all the leaves & twigs off our roof. And yeah, it's pretty windy here too.
This may be sad, but I remember, somewhat fondly, the following bit of the 90's:
Came home and decided to mow/mulch what was out there. Looking back I should have gone full Boxster and gotten up on the roof but oh well. I got the whole yard done and winterizer put down before the wind picked up.
Won our football game and I had three catches for first downs. It was cold and windy so we decided to skip halftime and keep playing.

I'm disappointed that that Dilly Dilly thread isn't just four pages of "dilly dilly" responses.
Was in a hurry today when I ran to the John Deere dealership and grabbed a lunch/supper at mcdonalds (that or Dairy Queen and I didn't have an extra hour to wait). I was just a little dusty on my jacket but overall clean, but boy did I get stared at. You Minnesota people must know when an Iowan is in your presence and are dumbfounded by us.

So last night after work I get out the Leaf Hogg and manage to clean off about 15% of the front yard. I wanted to vac up all the leaves so I could mow one more time (yeah, I know, what a masochist). And this morning I go out for work and it's so damn windy again I couldn't even tell I had done anything. Tomorrow's going to be a long day - I may need some pie, @BoxsterCy.
My oven is like that, so annoying. And it doesn't keep heat--also annoying when you are trying to bake. I had the appliance guy come out shortly after we moved since it was a new house/new oven and still under warranty. He tested it and basically said anything within a 25% range of the set temp is normal. Really?!
