we're all safe for a bit. GTO is now higher on the demon child's list.

Easy for you to say. Pants has been to my house. Demon child may have tortured that info from him or have it if DC has just possessed him and his knowledge (my address, tax breaks, places to eat in Hawaii, etc). DC might have your contact info too!

Was it Wxman starting FXB this week? I finally made it back to class today! Leg day was fun. I look forward to kickboxing tomorrow.

Z had me do ab exercises with her. I did have to tell her that I could not jump on her bed with her though.

Had the nutrition class tonight. That is probably the part I am most worried about especially since eating is my biggest problem. Not fearing the workouts as I grew up playing multiple sports. It will be different but I am looking forward to it.

Looked up @GTO street. Looks like all those long hours are paying off!

The fun thing is I can watch it with my 2 oldest girls. And be like, "yes--we really did do that in the 80's!" The oldest says her HS gym teacher is similar to Coach Mellor.

I like Beverly a lot, but there can be times where I find Barry to be way over the top. My favorite episode in the series is where Murry buys Adam tickets to space camp. I will admit, I got a little teary eyed at the end of that episode.

We have a few episodes left in an old season to catch up so haven't seen that one yet. We kinda watched out of order, and have this newest season's 2 episodes to watch yet. Finding a time where all 3 of us can watch together is tough.

"The rest of the weekend will be nice from a sensible weather perspective." I am going to need to pull out some weather books to see if I can find "sensible weather".

Fun fact - I met Rutger Hauer about 10 years after that was made, and almost got to be an extra in "Surviving the Game".
They filmed some of it in central Washington, in the eastern foothills of the Cascades. They had the 2-lane up into the valley blocked off for filming, & I was by my car waiting for it to re-open. Chatted with the crew while I was waiting. Never saw Ice-T (and at that point in life, would not have known who he was!), but Hauer came over, visited for a couple of minutes, then wandered off. Really odd duck.
They filmed a scene at a local country bar; my niece & some of her friends were in it, and they invited me to join them but I was heading on over to the coast. The scene ended up on the cutting room floor anyway.
Thus ended my brief brush with fame. :D

Random thought...
I have not yet seen the new Wonder Woman movie. My memories of Wonder Woman are of Lynda Carter...and her costume. I'm watching Gal Gadot on the Tonight Show, and I find myself wondering how in the hell she fills out that costume. She's flat as a board.

In the movie her legs went for miiiiles, in the way they cut the costume.

@SaraV is the hubby making you work homecoming? I saw his name on the list but not yours as a guest.

ISU Homecoming? I'm not even sure what's going on that day since that team out east is hosting Minnesota. Slight chance I might have to go to that. *ttthhhhhppppbbbbt*

KC, Wonder Woman was ok, not a huge comic book movie fan but it was a fun action movie.

Couldn't get a rain in July/Aug now I think we've had some type of precip for about the last 5 days. I'm going to have to mow my yard once it finally dries out.
