With school starting soon it reminds me that our little BDK is moving away from mom and dad.(better really stay out of that hot tub now). so @Playboi Carti weren't you moving in with an older "friend" or something. You moved in yet?
The last I remember he was asking for advice on getting a roommate that was older than him (grad student I think)

Been moved out for a week now . I live with a friend and a random guy. I'm enjoying living on my own

One of those great nights when you think something isn't right but you just can't tell what is setting you off. So you get zero sleep.

I refuse to admit there's a 7.00am.
And that
Left for work this morning and as soon as I pulled out of the driveway, I could see the cop sitting past the tracks (about a 1/4 mile away) facing the way I was going. I get up to closer and I see the radar gun sticking out of the window backwards, trying to get cars going the way I was going. He wasn't fooling anyone. Ten to 7 in the morning. Also heard someone got pulled over while sitting in their driveway, but I don't think that's true.

I was heading east on 13th yesterday and watched as three cop cars stopped three separate westbound cars with one radar gun. They were set up on the city property just east of the cemetery. One cop tagged cars coming down the hill on the east side of the Skunk River and the other two pulled them over...then the one with the radar pulled a third car over. I don't think the cars even saw the cop cars until they had crossed the river and were driving past Riverside Park...and by then it was waaaaaay too late...

WI State Patrol likes to catch people from the air. We were going up north last year, like we are this weekend, and we saw a sign that said "Air Enforcement Zone". A couple minutes later, we saw a small plane flying low above and parallel to the interstate. Then all of a sudden, 4 patrol cars all pull out at the same time and each pull over a car. Probably thought the sign wasn't serious. We didn't at first.

IMG_0678.JPG @ImJustKCClone if you want to get rid of cats, just set them loose in a MLB stadium. The rally cat in the Cardinals game was the best thing ever last night. Yadi is up to bat and notices something on the field. Close up of a young cat running around. Grounds crew finally catches it (and has no idea how to carry a mad cat, he is just trying to get off the field as fast as he can) and then the next pitch Yadi hits a grand slam.

You know how many people want to adopt that cat right now?

Best part of that was Lorenzo Cain just standing there and looking as the cat walked right by him.

I was in the bar when that happened and I said "I bet there'll be 500 people wanting to adopt that cat"

I turned the game on right as this was happening. Lorenzo Cain cracking up was pretty funny.

Also, every cat owner was shaking their head and calling that guy an idiot for not scruffing it.

One of those great nights when you think something isn't right but you just can't tell what is setting you off. So you get zero sleep.

Had that at one point. For some reason I woke up at 3:30 thinking my wife was going somewhere today but I couldn't remember where. Got up to check the calendar and everything. I wasn't dumb enough to wake her up to ask but my brain was sure convinced she was going somewhere.

Then LittleWx woke up at 4 so I asked her then. She has nothing. Finally got us all back to sleep around 4:45 but my body wasn't done as I got one hell of a sympathy cramp at 5:30.

Iowa will do that as well. I had never seen it in action before until earlier this year on 380 in North Liberty. We were driving south and I noticed a Cessna circling then all of a sudden he just kept tightening his turn over the interstate and I was all WTF that is a bit excessive. He headed straight back north and as we got up to the exit there were a couple of troopers with people pulled over and a couple waiting.

In my early days as a prosecutor I was handling a speeding ticket based on speeds calculated by the Iowa State Patrol using aircraft. Before the trial, as we were standing in the hallway, the Defendant said he was going to do me a big favor and let me dismiss the ticket at his cost, because his testimony would undermine the use of aircraft in future cases and make them useless. I fought back a chuckle and told him I'd take my chances.

In Iowa you can request a jury trial on a speeding ticket, which he'd done. They deliberated for 3 minutes before returning a verdict of guilty.

Good thing I held the line that day or the incredible precedent of an adverse Iowa county Magistrate decision might have destroyed the use of airplanes to prosecute speeding tickets throughout the world. jimlad.png
