Had first bowl of cereal in roughly 10 years. Giving almond milk a chance (expensive crap), see how the day turns out.

I was 5 minutes late because I didn't even know about it.
I'm still on it. I have no idea how long this was scheduled for. It's supposedly some knowledge acquisition for a new client but I'm not really acquiring any knowledge

I prefer morning meetings to meetings scheduled right before I'm supposed to leave for the day.
My issue is 7:30 meetings. Especially ones I didn't know about. I have one tomorrow at 7:10. There are so many meetings on a daily basis they just start scheduling them earlier and during lunch.

I am so sick of meetings being scheduled at 7:30 am.

That's when kids wanted to go for school registration. Told them it would be crowded, everyone trying to go before work. Drove by, line out the door, went out for breakfast, walked the dog, came back at 9:30 and got it done in five minutes. I did tell them when morning swim lessons were over they should keep getting up early so it wouldn't be a shock to the system when they go back to school, so they've been going out fishing early. And the college one has an 8:00 class so he's game as well.

We had flex time so you could start at 7:00 till 9:00 and leave as early as 3:30 with a 30 minute lunch. You were SUPPOSED to, by rule, try and schedule everything but all day stuff for core hours when everyone was there. I was mostly a 9-6 guy because not a morning guy and traffic was lighter later. Morning people would always schedule as early as they ******* wanted but late folks could never schedule anything that might last past 3:30. I hated the morning folks because they could not be inconvenienced on THEIR schedule but didn't give a **** about anyone else. Their kids, events, schedule, commute and bus time was MORE important than anyone else's, bar none. Loved meetings that ran late with the Colonel and the smug morning dudes having to sit there while they would have just gotten up and left my meeting. *******.

Take a breath and remember you are retired.

Or conversely think about the morning dudes still making the slog to work while you sip your coffee or have a glass of wine.

:D
