This is the same school that (one town in the school district has a Labor Day parade) and they have a football parents float in it where many of the parents ride it, (generally it's the ones who graduated from the school, us out of towners usually will just laugh at them).

Seems like they look for every excuse to be the center of attention.

You should also have an out-of-towners football parents float and hand out bacon or something.

We once went to a parade where a new restaurant was handing out styrofoam containers containing warm meatballs. Best parade ever and, no, there's nothing weird about eating meatballs handed out by a stranger in a parade.

Today is a make up day for anyone who missed the safety fair at work last week. I set up a room for fire safety demonstration and have to hang here for an hour and some change waiting for people to show up. So of course I just noticed I set up in a room the doesn't have a TV in it. Damnitt. Going to spend more time sitting and waiting than demonstrating here.

Probably best you're not demonstrating much about safety. Using your phone while pooping is certainly a health hazard.

Will skip that out of towner thing, could be expensive. While laughing at my wife ( a native who grudgingly rides it) is tolerated, competing would be marriage jeopardizing.

Rose just delivered my new Asics. Going to take them out for a test spin.

Ah, and a throwback item for Erik (our designated long distance runner). Was cleaning and tossing stuff from garage cabinets and found a glass mug from the City of Lakes 25k. Couldn't bring myself to toss it.

My phone is thought to be crapping out. Got a nexus 5. Might give son the option to upgrade and take his iPhone 5s. Any suggestions.

Why does MTV2 exist?? Who is producing and financing this and what is thier motive? How much revenue from "bundled packages" of all our cable/dish fees are going to subsidize this? does anybody watch it? Did Mohamed Atta watch it?
 
I am SOOOOO much happier now than I was an hour ago. :D

Milo didn't pester me at my computer desk last night. He didn't sleep at the top of my pillow either. I didn't trip over him getting ready for work either.

So that's been kind of nagging at the back of my brain all day. I got home and searched the house, and he wasn't here. So Lew & I searched outside around the house, and went over to the three neighbors nearest to us to ask them to keep an eye out for him. We left the garage door open, and the light on. About fifteen minutes ago Mel, Molly & Cricket all headed for the garage door. We opened it & Milo piled in on top of them. Lots of hugs & cuddles, and a good brushing, and he's happily ensconced on my lap now.
