I know I have to be in all or most of Saturday night which pretty much shoots the weekend. Tried to rebook my room and couldn't get the website to verify the credit card. Called the number and they couldn't even get a booking to go through on their own system.
I am leaving on Wednesday. If anything I make take off noon Tuesday and go up to London for the day. That is as long as things continue to smooth out.

Some friends (the ones who introduced me to Strongbow in the first place) brought a 12-pack to our grill party on the 3rd of July, with gold apple, honey, berry & ginger. We sampled all four flavors. There are 8 bottles left in fridge. They will probably remain there. :)

Are you suuuuuuuure you can't smuggle some original flavor back for me?

They sell it at the grocery store in 2 liter bottles like Coke

Edit: Being that I am here I should try some other different beers. I have tried a couple but neither impressed me. They have on one of the taps at the nearby pub about a new one called LSD coming soon. I would totally give that a try.

Indeed brewing in Minneapolis brews a beer called LSD. They may have been forced to change the name of it though.

Just what we needed. Another round of protestors blocking interstates. Although I don't blame them at all. ****ing bad cops.

Boxster, neat old pics you posted in the photography thread. Nice job of cleaning them up.
 
last kickball update!

so they turned the playoffs into an "upper" and "lower" league. And though we played pretty much all "lower" teams this season.........we played in the "upper" playoffs. And got our ***** kicked! We dropped some balls but they had like 5-6 really deep kicks that just went way past where we've been playing all season. Just killed us. And they caught everything we kicked pretty much. Had a really big guy pitching and throwing the ball to first - got me out there once. My last up I was on 2 outs and top of the 7th (so end of game with us being down) and was like man I don't want to be the one to end it. DH on 1st and another guy on 2nd. Guy walked me to first! Then I got walked to second! Then our sweet English girl kicked and almost got it over the pitcher's head. But he was tall and just got ahold of it.

We lost by, a lot. I don't even know. Thankfully we had a late run + a walk home so we didn't get blanked.


But yeah, we all agreed they should have thrown the game one of the weeks we were in Jamaica so we could have instead been the top seed in the lower bracket.

On to volleyball tomorrow night!
 
Thanks, NDubs and Pants for checking up on me due to the Dallas shootings. The family and I are fine. I was actually driving near the area right before it happened, but made it home without any issues.

We just took on a new client. Walked in blind. Only got access to the system about 48 hours beforehand. I have spent the last 6 hours trying to figure out where ONE message comes form and I'm still just as stuck now as I was 6 hours ago. I have never seen code that just goes around in circles like this stuff does.
