but I want a cat-like cat.

ooooooooooo the big place right on 35 as you get off for Ames? That's more my line of work. Kinda. I'm more the AIPL direction. Does she get to work with scary diseases or just boring stuff?

They are cat-like. They just follow you around like a dog and then act like cats when you stop moving.

ha, like they don't care that you stopped. My favorite cat that I raised when I was a teen was so sweet. I'd come home from college and call her name and she'd come running from the barn like that scene in Homeward Bound where they come over the hill at the end. I suppose that's a pretty dog-like thing to do. So maybe I do want a dog-like cat. She was always happy to see me.

the current mobile isn't the best. I wish her luck, that is a difficult one.

Someone last night was saying how they only take half their antibiotics because they think their doctor gives them too much and then next time they get a sinus infection they can take the other half. I'm like DO YOU KNOW HOW QUICKLY YOU CAN MAKE ANTIBIOTIC RESISTANT BACTERIA? ******* FAST, TAKE THE WHOLE ******* DOSAGE!

I think when I told him he was creating MRSA in his nose he got a little scared and was maybe not going to be stupid anymore.

Not entirely related to your wife's work, but a little bit.

Exactly. It's the cats that don't care if you are around that are no fun. You want to know you're appreciated. Although, our male will stop grooming himself if we're gone for more than a couple days. He has separation anxiety.

Antibiotic resistant bacteria is a phrase I hear daily. It no longer concerns me.

yeah I don't want an indifferent cat, but I don't yet want the commitment of a dog. Plus our neighbors are getting a puppy at the end of the month so that's good enough. I don't really want pets til we have kids old enough to interact. See too many people who get pets before kids and then give them up because of the baby or something. So we can wait.

and yeah, I learned to type late, but I'm pretty fast now.

Exactly what we did. Adopted the cats from a rescue last year. We wanted the kids to experience having pets. Plus we both had pets growing up. Dogs just require to much care so cats are perfect for us. We can go away for a few days and not have to worry.
