A girl I know from Wooster just posted on Facebook about how if you want to be a part of a group you can give one book and get 36 in return. She's nice, so I'm debating whether I want to let her know it's a scam

But if you are on top of the pyramid, it rules. If late to the party, you buy 35 and get 1.

So she's a nice person and you'd rather let her get scammed instead of helping her out from being taken advantage of? Why not warn her and then let her decide from there?

If you even get one book. And we worked together but weren't real close, so that's why I would feel weird doing it.

Here's a thought - you could just reply saying "I don't know, it kinda sounds like a pyramid scheme to me. You might want to research it if you haven't already."

Plant a seed of doubt, let her take it from there.

Because I'm not sure if she's the one who would be getting scammed or the people after her. And I'll probably do it as a facebook message, then she can decide what she wants to do on her own. I was afraid commenting on it would make her look like an idiot to everyone.

So I just did it as a message. I figure that's better
