So my son got one of these for his birthday. He doesn't care to play with it, but I can't seem to put it down.

Baby GTO also can't get enough of it. Pretty much me and the baby fighting over it.

I try to do the maze, but my baby likes just drumming on it and turning it.

The hard thing about it is that you have to be really careful and have a steady hand or the ball falls all the way out of the track and you have to start over again.

Was doing my taxes today (haven't finished) and panicked when I could not find Baby Elijah's social security number/card anywhere. Finally found it, but still not happy about possibly owing money to Uncle Sam.

If you owe a little that means they didn't get to use your money interest free during the year.

Live music surfin' and see that David Sanborn was at the Dakota tonight. ****, would have gone. I have some of his old jazz stuff from a previous life I lived. Dakotas a nice small upscale place that's great for small shows. He's there again Sunday night and then Taj Mahal is there for the next four nights.

Back in the day hubby was a Sanborn fan. He has some of his tapes (see, it was back in the day) but we have no working cassette player.

It was warmer here at 8 o'clock this morning than at any other time yesterday.

I guess in the South Metro it is common for groups to do can redemption drive fund raisers. We had one scheduled in December for the softball team, but cancelled due to weather. Rescheduled for yesterday, the feels like temp at 7am was 15 degrees. Daughter who went door to door said people would see the sports logo on their shirts and before they even asked would say, "I'll go get my cans". Parents said no one ever returns their cans/bottles, they just wait for groups to come around and collect. Some houses they stopped at they would get like 8 garbage bags full. Guess who got the job of sorting cans that had been sitting in a garbage bag for 10 months. That was fun. And smelled great. They would also stop at local bars to get cans. They did earn about $700 in 4 hours, not too bad.

One job training site that I oversaw was a can redemption place .It was a doozy of a site .Roughly only one in a two county area and picked up at bars. You don't want to know what was in those and the bags .

Stopping by for a bit to say hi. Here are a few observations and notes.

The twelve-year-old got over 36,000 steps and 94 floors yesterday.

The teenage daughter's friend that is in dance has her big competition next weekend. She has to do 8 different dances. I can't even imagine how many times I would stumble doing 8 different dances and how much liquor it would take to get me to dance 8 times.

We saw the Mark Ruffalo movie last night. It was actually really good.

Definitely time to lose weight. That or buy new clothes and I'm too cheap for that. Start packing lunches and eating the same thing.

JC, where is the daughter dancing next week, my daughter has a comp in MN next week I believe. What did she do climb the Hancock building?
