So, went to that thread and totally get this. Got about 1/3 of the way through it, even posted, but then did the abandon thread thingy.
I highlighted the exact moment that I stopped feeling sorry for you.
I didn't get to home base because she informed me that she was "kind of talking to another guy."
Fantastic.
When we moved to Ames one of our first neighbors was coach Fountain--I think he was on the offensive side of things? He left with Chizik (again, I don't totally remember the details). When they moved his wife gave us a bunch of his ISU gear since he obviously didn't need it anymore. Then the QB coach Tony Petersen lived just down the block two houses. He didn't stay too long either. I think Mangino lives somewhere in the neighborhood, will see where the next For Sale sign is. Coach Sturdy also lives two blocks away.
I'm sick. To cheer me up I opened up my men's basketball tickets envelope. Then I remember that I'll have to miss like half the games because of work.
There are starving Cyclone fans hundreds of miles away that will likely miss all of the games. You sir are still blessed!
On the plus side, cstrunk is going to be the subject of Taylor Swift's next song

We went through that for a couple of years when PapaLew was working 2nd shift. We have 3 tickets, so I could ask another couple to go with me...but if everyone was busy, I ended up not going and giving my tickets to students.
This is a valid point. She has had three major hits (that I didn't even know was all the same person until the album) so I'd be willing to bet most here have heard her, just might not know who she is.
Notice these are all assistant coaches. I didn't say there is a nice house next door if you have a cool $1M+ available.
I don't live out by the Pollards/Rhoads/Hoibergs of Ames.
Why do people feel the need to whistle, loudly & tunelessly, with they are walking down the halls? It's a very long hall, and it echoes, and it's annoying as frak.
