But do you agree that 00 went all Field Marshall Montgomery and went A Bridge Too Far as he is wont to do?

OK, it was probably funnier to the guy who enjoyed Oktoberfest throughout the ISU/Kansas game at Iowa's oldest Microbrewery. My apologies.

Met up with Gma, Gpa, brother00 and his family after the parade, had lunch at the brewery. Mrs00, Gma, SIL took the 4 kiddos around to the pony rides, etc. while Gpa, Brother00 and I enjoyed the music at the brewery...such as "grab your balls, we're going bowling", "I don't want her, you can have her, she's too fat for me", and other polka classics.

Table next to us was another family situation similar to ours, except the women wanted to drink as well, so the kiddos were forced to hang out and watch mom and dad drink (which, there's no way I'd force our kids into that). At one point, their 3rd grader was in I'm bored meltdown mode, and mom taunted him, dad tried too hard to "fix him" and it just got worse. A little later, after the edge was off of him, I called the kid over, and just talked to him for a while, asked him about HIM, rather than just letting him sit there bored. He told me about his sports, his school, etc. I honestly didn't really care, but knew he needed to have someone pay attention to him, so I talked. He cheered up, and went to run around the yard behind the brewery with his brother. Not too long after, we left. Said pleasant "see ya"s to the table next to us, and the parents asked if I was a child psychologist. I laughed and said "no", they asked if I was a principal, and I said "no". They they asked what I was. "An Engineer", I replied. They were amazed that I wasn't some sort of highly educated child rearing expert. I didn't say anything, but thought "It's about reading your kids, not expecting them to fold to your desires all the time".

I was looking at Harry Potter Memes and I came across this one:
