I took 10 minutes and compared it to 10 hours of labor. And that's short labor. Plus we get lovely pains other times too.

Girls think they have it so difficult

I have no idea if that "fact" I stated is even remotely accurate. I see it every once in awhile and like to mess with the gf about it.

At work, I will go back to where the students are, and just say "I need to borrow your height (or muscles) for a couple of minutes". We just about always have at least one tall guy back there. Right now, one of the kids is at least 6'6"...and he is a absolute sweetheart about helping me out whenever I need it.

i'm about 6'-5" and I've had strangers in the stores ask me to reach things for them more often than I can count

I was walking through the grocery store when I saw this lady in her 40's trying to get something off the top shelf. I stepped in and pushed the box farther back, said "there ya go, I got that back up there for ya" and pretended to walk away.

I turned back around and retrieved the item and let her know I was just kidding. She ended up laughing, but that initial glare I received was deadly. I guess only the short people on CF have a sense of humor.

Oh, my first reaction would have been much the same, most likely.

If I'm shopping by myself, there have been times when I have gone several aisles over to find someone to help reach a top shelf product. For me, getting hubby's 2-liter Pepsi bottles is the worst. They're in this slide-down rack and you have to lift them up about 6 inches to clear the front of the rack. They're kind of heavy when you're doing that on tiptoes using just your fingertips. Most of the time, he swings by the store and picks up his own pop.

I have been growing out my beard for a couple weeks and it is now at that stage where it looks good and is getting too long for me to shave it comfortably. Should I continue growing it, or just shave it all off?

Don't shave! You've gotten past the whisker-burn stage. A full-grown beard is softer than stubble.
