I helped someone out with their computer problem last week by turning their power strip to the "ON" position...

Yeah, that was basically me. Couldn't hear anything coming out of a certain broadcast channel on the board. Checked one thing, doubled-check that it wasn't the board itself. Nope. The "Program" button wasn't lit up top on that channel. Slightly in my defense, there was a note covering the buttons, so I didn't even think about that possibility.

You may appreciate this story. One time I accidentally changed the program monitor to the preview channel, and the host was all sorts of confused on what was going on. As for thinking something was broken when it wasn't, the other day one of our cameras zooming in/out really slow. I saw the speed setting was set at slow, and therefore I changed it to the faster setting but the problem was still persistent. Well I call over the engineer, and he looks at the camera flips another speed setting located on a different part of the camera. The zoom starts working again. I hate looking like ******* in front of the engineers.

during one of my internships, I spent a lot of time holed up in a room working on Captivate videos. There was a note that said to save often, but I didn't do that as often as I should have. On more than one occasion, I lost several hours of work. Had IT come in. He couldn't figure it out either. Bad sign when the IT person is having no luck Googling the issue.

Sat back down to get back to work and was swinging my feet like normal. Lightbulb goes off in my head. Sure enough, I had been intermittently kicking the internet cord and it was cutting out the connection and apparently caused me to lose my work. Derp.

This type of stuff doesn't happen to normal sized people whose feet touch the floor when they sit in a normal sized chair.

haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaha. You have no idea how true this is. I go sit in DH's computer chair sometimes and he'll walk back over and be like "look how cute you are swinging your feet! You little shortie!"

and then I flip the bird.

Did not realize you were a fellow midget. It's a small world after all...

5'3.5!

Angie is fun-sized as well. Sara is pretty tall though. She has complained about pants being too short. That's a thing?!?!?

I was that tall...

My lower spine does this lovely S-curve thing now from arthritis, so now I'm barely over 5-2, and settling. Docs say in about ten years I won't even make 5-1. Oh well...

Bugs is another small package. :)
