When my kids were in college, and now working, it is so much easier to text them. That way, they can read the text and respond when they aren't in classes or working. I've found the same with friends.

July. It's usually too darn hot to enjoy any outside activities and the only sports on tv is boring MLB.
On a related note, why do a group of kids hang out together and spend the entire time texting...to each other? Wouldn't it be easier to just - I don't know - TALK to each other?
Great take on this on Blue Bloods last Friday. Granddaughter comes to grandfather for advice. While he's responding, her phone buzzes. As she pulls it out, he says "put that away". She says "but I need to see who it is...". He replies "Choose". She says "But what if it's important?" He says "Choose".
I'm going to have to remember that one!
Why do kids have to send 500 texts to someone that they just saw in school 20 minutes ago? Is your life so amazing that 20 minutes results in 500 interesting things? Why can't they just wait two hours and send one really interesting text?
When I originally read this I thought it said "a plant philosophy final" and I thought geez, ISU sure takes their ag studies really seriously. I must need to get more sleep.
True. At least July has the 4th when we make homemade ice cream and blow things up.
late January to early February sucks because it's cold and you're getting sick of snow. August was my least favorite growing up because it meant small baling and dying of heat stroke milking every night.
June is awesome because it's my birthday and it's just so nice out. Plus the days last foreeeeeeeeeeeever. Late September/early October when you get Indian summer is a close second.
