I'm guessing their limos are not standard issue. Based on White House Down, they come with an uzi that the President leans out the window and shoots at pursuing terrorists. But also probably some serious bullet proofing.

I never saw that one. Was it good mindless fun? I liked Olympus Has Fallen for the Die Hard feels. I remember White House Down coming out a few months later and never saw it because it looked like a similar movie with a slightly worse cast.
Oh yeah. The helicopters (5 in total I believe) Along with the entire motorcade is flown in to each destination). Smaller for VP but yeah we spend a crazy amount on transporting them around. The 747 costs hundreds of thousands per fight hour to run/support.
That's just not realistic and why Olympus Has Fallen is better. Well, that and the little girl with the flag was annoying and it was pretty much badly written political propaganda. Channing Tatum is a handsome man, though.
I liked both. WHD was played more for laughs, OHF more for the intensity of an action thriller. Neither one is Oscar-worthy, but they're good for a couple of hours of mindless entertainment each.

huh, but I didn't get one! I was a little buzzed when I did that (and clearly boiling mad) expected to wake up next day banned. Had like 25 thumps up on it instead, haha.
Technically still a lot but aircraft are priced as per flight hour so I guess as long as the engines aren't running it is free.

I've had a couple deleted, mostly for skirting around the edges of a topic. IIRC I was told privately to play nicely once, and a couple of mods have publicly yelled at me...for things that were probably fair, but I plead age & obstinancy!
