Going to the Lego Batman movie this Wednesday afternoon. Be there or be square.
It will be November before the oldest can get her school permit, and hubby is not too keen on that idea yet. She doesn't play winter sports through school so maybe we can hold off until next spring.

Also, story from Des Moines. Was at Legends downtown for lunch, a blind guy comes out of the bathroom and missed his turn. I had my back towards the restroom so he banged into me right after whacking my ankle with his cane. I got up and started leading him back to the main section (I saw him come back to the small little area we were so I knew he came from up front). I kept telling him where we were and yelling "does anybody know where my friend here is seated?" He was clueless. Walks up to a table of one guy and two women and stops. I was impressed with either one being his gf, then they informed me he wasn't with them. So I kept going and found a waitress, she takes over.
I let some people pass and get back into the walkway and nearly get tripped by his cane. Waitress turned him around apparently. As I headback to my group I look over and see a lady who finally jumped up and went to get him. Had walked right by while yelling for his friends. The lady must have been oblivious to the world and not noticed going by her twice.
