Random Thoughts IX (The first 8 were probably better)

I spent the night teaching a 2 year old what each number on a phone is and then she assigned each number a different gender and talked to me about a show called Paw Patrol or something like that. Much better than actually talking with the rest of the family.

Paw Patrol is awesome. I don't know what it's about but I know that if we turned it on, the nieces were instantly quiet and still.

Anyone wanna bet my post about playing with the two year old made CG's ovaries ache?

and I mean that disagree in like a nah I disagree cause I know what I felt, not the passive aggressive Cave use of that disagree button.

although the part about the kiddo being like you are chase and I am skye is cute. Til you remember 2 year old tantrums.

Even I'll admit, this little kid was pretty ******* cute.

Are you sure you want a baby?

Starting to worry some that mass holiday season consumption of wine and pie coupled with no biking and less running will turn me into a fat corgi.

Do not want to have to resort to the Mark Watney potato diet before hitting Mexico this winter.

He is flying Ironman.

I recommend only water, coffee and meat and veggies if you have a fear of weight gain.

I used to be more sure. I've seen behind the curtain and am like hey, DINK life ain't so bad. But I am also opposed to change by nature. Had myself half convinced that our ****** apartment wasn't so bad, how would I ever keep up with a real house? Verdict, I don't but having a nicer house is better.

Whoa. This got deep.

ha, only kinda. I'm just like, that person who would have stayed in London during the plague vs get on any boats that were just going to fall off the edge of the earth anyway. (Erik, I understand these were not simultaneous historical events)

I am extremely risk/change averse but usually don't regret things once they've changed. Car guy the other night was trying to talk us into a higher trim. He's like just jump off the cliff, do it!

I'm making eyes at DH being all clearly this guy does not know anything about us. We are not the type to "jump off the cliff." I would research 65 different ways to carefully walk down that cliff and agonize over making the wrong choice. And yes, I'd color code my preferred routes in a spreadsheet.
