Before the game today, I took the kids out for a walk on a wetlands trail. 3 miles worth of walking and then stopped by the kid's area, which features some small wooden cabins for them to play in. I must say, it was a good day.
FYI, I did get back to SE Iowa in one piece tonight.

Buy a single finals ticket online with about 4-5 minutes left in the semis game. Pick it up, aisle seat. Leave my coat to go use the restroom. (I was awfully trusting this weekend) Come back, and there's wxman and his wife in the seats next to me.

FYI, pass this onto to DH. The winner is the one who always positively responds to the skin to win chant. So I've heard at least.

Using my phone for CF was an exercise in frustration.
In all fairness, I recall when I first joined CF that CG had to spend a lot of game time in the bathroom because the team played better when she was in there...
I think that was her secret way to tell people DH was abusive, but WDSM was the only one to see it and try to White Knight her.

yep. I decided the tourney was going just fine without me watching.
I don't want to go running.
but I really want to get this delicious pizza for dinner tonight, which is what I planned to have if friends came over. But I told myself no unless I run since I didn't eat great yesterday.
I think the right answer is eat the pizza first, then decide if you want to run afterwards.

so as I continue to be a sweet wife and clean things while DH drinks on a beach, I get about half the bedroom vacuumed when I notice it smells burn-y. Thought I'd try to finish up but smell is getting strong. Shut it off and smoke starts coming out of the bottom. Pick it up and some burned looking stuff falls onto the carpet. No time for that, first gotta get this thing out into the 25F outside of the house. Come back for burnedy stuff, warm, not hot so I get rid of that.
