And for @wxman1

Saw two Pilatus PC-7's flying low to the water and fast along the beachfront this morning before rocking a quick right turn. Mexican trainers, looked them up, gotta love the Google. There are some stationed on Cozumel which I am looked at out my window. Looked like P-51's but sounded like jets (turbo props). Zoom!

Speaking of The Day After Tomorrow, that movie contained one of my favorite cinematic scenes ever.

At the .18 mark, something violently throws a wolf at our hero. I have to assume that is what Jake Gyllenhaal is actually running from.

Second favorite cinematic scene. Meet Joe Black.
Those are awesome.

I contracted it by watching the Tommy Lee/Pamela Anderson video. Who knew.
At about that time, two things were published on the internet that completely revolutionized it.

The Philadelphia Inquirer published the interactive story of Blackhawk Down and showed how educational and useful the internet could be.

The Tommy Lee/Pamela Anderson video showed the opposite.

I was equally intrigued by both. I am ashamed of myself for this.

Nice! Beechcraft makes a competitor for that called the T-6 that would do similar stuff over Beech Field in Wichita that we lived a few miles east of.

The Day After Tomorrow is just another Sela Ward movie where she had the hero guy but was too demanding and dumped him but still hung around him cause you know he's the hero guy who is gonna save her ungrateful ass.

Although at least in The Fugitive, she broke the pattern and became the woman killed by the one-armed man instead of dumping Harrison Ford.

For a little while, I thought you were putting down the acting skills of the hot girl from Sharky's Machine. A little sleuthing and I discovered your post was acceptable.

We met last night with the other family that's going to Mexico to discuss our plans. These seemed to be the kids' most important questions.

Can kids order drinks at the swim-up bar? If not, can you get them for me so I don't have to get out of the pool?
Can I order the good stuff off of the menu at the sit-down restaurants or just the "not-too-expensive" stuff?
Do they have good lemonade?
Do they make non-alcoholic margaritas?
Can I dive head-first off of the waterfall like the guy in the video?
Can we trade seats on the airplane so that I don't have to sit by my sister/brother?
Will the signs at the hotel be in Spanish?
Can I have my own suitcase so I don't have to pack with my brother? His stuff stinks.

Looking at things on amazon for my birthday. Found a pair of "retro" sneakers I liked. Only 1 left in the size I need. In the time I started looking at them earlier this morning they jumped from $77 to $79 to $90 now $92. Ain't gonna happen, but almost comical watching the price jumps.

Didn't know today was National Banana Bread day. Just made some the other night, family has almost finished off one of the loaves. I put chocolate chips in--everyone else here loves it that way but I will not touch it with chocolate chips. Not my favorite.

My daughter's stem fair project was about what flavor of chips taste best in banana bread.
