Not exactly sure.
Had to fix a broken thermostat in the middle of the night, at least we got heat. Today is they day I'm supposed to get help to put in a new water heater for the basement heat that started blowing water all over. 15 minutes ago the wife tells me her work vehicle broke down at her friends where she went to walk this morning. Apparently been having issues, would have been nice to know before it totally crapped out. Going to be fun today.

What type of case do you get?

I got selected for a jury once. The guy had a huge supply of those keys you use to open vending machines. He'd go around trying random machines to see if any of the keys worked and apparently they did. He was also charged with attempted murder, but there was absolutely no evidence to support that charge.

Don't be judgmental.

It was the state Family Violence court. It was an incredibly sad case. Man raped and murdered his niece, videotaped the whole thing and posted it online to a social media site. It was really difficult to look at the evidence.

He represented himself, made no opening or closing statements, called no witnesses, and didn't object to anything. Trial was over in less than 4 hours purely because they had to show us all the evidence.

We convicted him of Statutory rape in the first degree, murder in the first degree, and possession and distribution of child pornography.

We deliberated literally less than 15min. One guy was like "I'll be the foreman, let's get this over with. Does anyone think he's innocent on any of it?" No one answered so we formally just said guilty around the room to each other for accountability. And the most of that 15 min was what type of sentence we should recommend (since we weren't doing the sentencing, we only recommended one).

You guys are both ded. No coming back from this. Let us know where to send our condolences.

Pulling for their survival. So young and without enough stuff yet for us to bother driving to Wisc to claim. They don't have a snowblower for Carver, no new SUV in the garage yet and don't even have a dog for me to adopt.

How come trucks today didn't end up being cool like the concept models from when I was a kid? Example, this 1964 GM Bison turbine.

And how come we still don't have flying cars !!!!

Edit: I just looked this up and it was at the 1964 World's Fair in New York. I was there but don't remember that. Of course I was only 6. All I remember was the dinosaur exhibit sponsored by Ford where you rode about dinosaurs in miniature Mustangs. I also remember seeing Michelangelo's The Pieta.
