Anyone else seeing a page on Facebook called "Buffalo Vines Videos"? I never liked this page, I think it used to be something else.
Actually, unlike many of the Hawkeyes, I get the feeling Uthoff actually is a really nice person. It's just so hard not to make fun of that face only a mother or mare could love.
Yes! It JUST cropped up on my feed today. I unliked/unfollowed them. Chicago Bulls avatar?
I searched for it. Says three friends are fans of the page, and none of them seem they'd like something related to the Bulls (one is from just outside of Cleveland, Ohio and is a huge Cavs fan). I think Facebook is lying to me.
I just went to it again. Before it said 11million people like this, this person and 55 other friends. Now it says this person and 75 other friends
Back from our wedding/business weekend in central Iowa. Going to our old church in Ames really makes us miss being there. As my wife said if only Ames had more places to work that wasn't just infrastructure types we could move back.
Finally got a bike ride in seen lots of wildlife 1bald eagle, 1 mink,1pheasant, 1fawn w/spots grazing, lots of rabbits, and several families of ducks. Did about 1/2 of the Sauk Rail trail. it runs from Lake View to So. of Carroll (Swan lake St. Park?) Went a little south of Breda then turned around. Nice trail with lots of gravel road crossings and wooden bridges crossing small creeks. It's fairly narrow 2 wide fills it up with no extra room. Fairly busy probably seen 20-25 bikers and a couple of moms out pushing strollers. It was nice to finally be biking again been busy w/ other stuff and hadn't made time.
Back home...so littlest00 wouldn't go to sleep in the hotel room until after 10, still got up at 7-ish, so he was a grumpy-butt all day. Went to a winery late morning, they had a 8-ish month black lab pup running around, of course to the pup, 2.5 year old is "hey, my size, come here, I want to see", so he freaked out...owners were very apologetic, and I'm like...don't feel bad, it could be anything to set him off today, he didn't get enough sleep. Sure enough, later they went out on the patio with the cousins, and we hear the bloody murder wailing starting, mrs. 00 goes out to see if someone is bleeding, she encounters the 13 YO cousin with a bag of fruit snacks in his hand and this 'oh no' look on his face...he's like "I don't know...He just started crying because I opened his fruit snacks wrong."
Lunch at mexican restaurant, then birthday party for grandma-in-law...then 4 hour drive home.

Time to become a fantasy football guru. I actually had to remind the league commissioner that he needs to get it all set up, preseason is here!
This is the first year I haven't been in one since high school. I've said I wasn't going to do it for the last four years though, and I somehow always end up getting roped in on the last minute.
Great idea...how does everyone season their popcorn? I use dill weed and garlic with butter.
Don't have popcorn often, but it's delicious with Greek seasoning.
But usually I season mine with peanut butter m&ms.
