Need to go back with little wxman some day. First time we took the kids to DC, the then five year old did nothing but whine until he could see dinosaur bones and we had even stopped in Pittsburgh to see them on the way.
I am assuming you got to the Cosmosphere in Hutchinson before you left Wichita? We got there when it opened for the day and needed more time.
I don't understand these boys and their bases. Back in my day, it took multiple at bats to get where they claim first is.
Although between DH and the tree, not sure WDSM is getting out of the batter's box.
Setting my sights high and going for grand slam of getting 55 and CG up in the tree at the same time.
I called it third grade flirting. DH was great at flicking hair and watching bits of NASCAR just to tell me how well Jimmie Johnson did.
The coloring book reference made me remember I got an ISU coloring book and crayons at the ISU Tailgate in Clear Lake this summer. Problem is, one book and two mini-nephews.
Also got a goodie bag for displaying my older Porsche this summer at a local event. In the bag was a little Porsche 917 hot wheels. Problem, one hot wheels and two mini-nephews.
So I have a coloring book and a hot wheels here. Suppose I could have given one each to them and started a fight and meltdown.

She's saying DH was a dork. Jimmie Johnson started cup in 2002, so 13 years ago, putting DH in his early/mid teens. In his early/mid teens, his flirting with CG involved flicking her hair.
living in the eastern time zone allows me to start drinking earlier and feel less morose about it!.
How freaking hard is it to spell my name correctly? Especially when it is spelled in the email you just responded to.....
