I talk to all my hairstylists. They're people too. Although to be fair, younger GTO was socially awkward, so I would not talk to them. My current job requires me to talk with lots of people, so I don't have any issues making small talk anymore.
Showers? I worked at a cattle slaughterhouse one summer and I would need a 30 minute shower afterwards just to get the smell off me.
Just the one, that I saw of anyway. Just kind of came out and bull rushed that one.
CG sounds more socially awkward than I was. I avoided human contact more than anything and think I had some social anxiety at times, but got over it in time.So it would have been a great sociological experiment to put young GTO and young CG in a room to see what happens?
Did you cry in the shower for those 30 minutes when working in the slaughterhouse?
I know it's a way of life for many, but most here know my take with animals, and I feel like that kind of work would literally just mentally and emotionally break me. And it usually would take a LOT for that to happen with me.

Crying? I would usually go have a burger or something like that during lunch. Never bothered me much.
Great stuff. I'm such a nerd when it comes to maps. I once spent about an hour on Google Earth bouncing around trying to find different landmarks in the world from memory.
I was there 3 times a week collecting samples for an immunology lab. My station was right next to the rack where they keep all the heads. My job? Wheelbarrow full of organs and then examining the livers and collecting the bile from infected cows. It was a hot summer, too. I ended up throwing away all the clothes I wore for that job. I could never get them clean enough.
I think it took me a good month after leaving the farm before I got that liquid **** smell out of my nose for good. Confinement barns with a big slurry store was something not to be downwind from.
One more farm-related observation. My wife (not from a farm) never understands how I can decipher between cattle and hogs just based on the smell as we are driving down the road. I'm like, "I hate to say it, but I can still pick out cattle, sheep, hogs, horses, and chickens with about 95% certainty." Some things, you just can't un-remember.
Which thread?Hey 00, he responded. Let me get the popcorn quick.
she didn't want curtains, just blinds.
and even if we had picked everything out then, that stuff takes a while to come in.
