Random Thoughts IV

I have no idea, to be honest. Rents for one bedrooms have gone from $900 to $1200 or so since I've been here, so it's still not bad. The appraisal on my house this year went up 25% which is nuts. I don't think prices will ever blow up here cause there's so much room to grow out, but it's definitely going up.

Is that in Denver or the burbs? I love how they've got Downtown Denver. It seems like a pretty awesome place to be.

After a rainy start had an awesome day! Went and shot trap for the 1st time in 4 or 5 years. Got to visit w/ a lot of people I hadn't seen for a while. Got out w/ Ok scores for me figuring I hadn't shot for a long time. Got home had a homemade cinnamon roll and a glass of milk for a snack, then went for a 19 mile bike ride, got home, cleaned up and had a big bowl of watermelon for supper. It was just a really nice relaxing fun day.

That's sound like a great day.

I'm not a good shot -- all I remember growing up is shooting behind that goddamn pheasant. Little hippie gf totally thinks I'm American Sniper though.

The reunite with Murphy scene gave me the same reaction as the Field of Dreams "Wanta have a catch" scene if you know what I mean.

That was South Broadway, so it's not really either. My house is in a little pocket east of Colorado Blvd. Downtown Denver is really great, but I don't have any numbers for you.

Nah it's cool, I was just curious more than anything else. Pretty much what I expected. Sounds like it's kind of between what I paid in Indiana and what I pay in Hawaii.

I think so, yeah. People talk like housing is rough, but it's definitely not like a Honolulu or San Francisco where you can't build out forever.

Dang it Doc still waiting to hear how ski season was.

I didn't learn until I was 23 so I'm not the guy to ask. I had a great Wednesday at Vail once when it dumped snow, and then had a terrible trip down Peak 8 at Breck. I feel like I inched my way up half that mountain trying to get a ski. Friend convinced me I could handle the Imperial Express.
