they are doing this over headphones so they even have to talk to each other. DH never would have done this if I hadn't pushed him. I'm like dude, you guys haven't seen each other since you were his groomsman three years ago. We are driving through his town. See if he wants to get lunch. Yeah, that's a girly thing but that's the best option since I'll be there as will his pregnant wife.
Can we get screen shots of Dh's text conversation? I feel like it would be hilarious. Hey, I'm swinging thru CR, it'd be nice to put a face to my dungeon and dragons warlord. Can I see you?
This was a college roomie. They play games a lot together now but never see each other. I feel like it's awkward sauce for straight guys to invite each other to lunch.

well, technically this is for DH. but I mean if you and 00 want to sit in the next booth that's cool with me. Who is number 3? who did I forget? If you bring your baby, I'll sit in your booth.
I just looked. My friend that lives in Indiana and I literally made plans to meet up and get drinks in Des Moines in a total of 30 words between the two of us. There's no reason microphones should have to be involved in this, CG.
Baby will be with my wife on their way to Branson for vacation.

well that's usually how they chat. I'm pretty sure this took less than thirty words. It was like "hey, you going to be around on Sunday? We are driving through. Want to get lunch?" "sure"
I'm like we need a where and when yet but it's a start.
think my friend fell asleep on me. But we texted for like an hour and a half. And planned a fun night. Totes awesome.
I think the awkward thing was that he asked him to lunch. WDSM had it almost right, but I would have said at the end "a couple beers, maybe something to eat?"
