My 9yr old has swim lessons on campus at Forker the next 2 weeks. It is orientation right now so lots of parents/new college kids wandering around. I walk on campus while she swims, and today I did stop and ask the family with a map out what they were looking for. "The Hub". We were standing 20ft away from The Hub (smaller buliding just south of the library). When I was in school I think it was like a copy center or something, I never went in there. Now it is a cafe/dining option and a Caribou Coffee.
I saw Jurassic Park in the theaters off South Duff the summer it came out while I was here for freshman orientation. A long time ago.

I feel like the name may have changed while I was there. Not sure I ever ate there but I remember people being gaga about the Caribou.
Outside of UDCC, I think Freddy and Lago were the only places I got food at. Mostly Lago. Well, the MU once or twice.
I remember the hub grilling out in the spring when I was there, but never it being a full cafe. Just vending machines.
Think I'll give that one a try next but need to start asking people over to share or I'll look like this by summers end:

Yeah, why the H did they call it a hub even, it was nothing. Like 10 days a year a sandwich cart would be there, otherwise it was some vending machines and a bulletin board.
Yeah working off the weight is major pain the ***. Also if you haven't seen the news, apparently it's going to rain a lot in the metro tomorrow.
The Hub name comes from it original purpose, a depot for the steam railway that served campus. And no, that was even before my time at ISU.
