2015, I know it's a little jaunt, but the memorial and museum in Oklahoma City to commemorate the Murrah Federal building bombing is pretty amazing to see. I saw it about 2 years after it was constructed.
I haven't been back since, so I'm not sure if it holds the same mystique that it once did, but I remember having to remind myself to breathe as I was walking around.
Of course you were probably about 2 when that happened so it may not have the same effect.

There's a huge flea market every weekend in the parking lot of Aloha Stadium that gets tons of people. It mostly seems to me like people bought stuff at Walmart and are charging double for it out of the back of their truck.
Since I already brought up several regional generalizations, I'll just assume that there has to be a rodeo going on in Tulsa.
After work, I'll probably just go home, eat some lutefisk and act polite, but cold and distant, to people that I don't know.

My sister kept calling and emailing me this weekend with pics and questions about stuff my niece was taking from my mom's old house. This after I told her I didn't want anything from the house that I had not already taken and niece was welcome to anything she could find and want. Anything there that I would bother to take now would be to just take and sell. I have enough freakin' junk. BTW, most awesome niece only took stuff I thought had resale value so she may not have inherited her grandmothers junk hoarding affliction.
A little less stuff/junk to deal with. Yay!
Probably and you just reminded me of something I did forget, the old iron "Dutch Oven" or as I knew it as a kid "The Pot Roast Maker".
I've learned to not call those Dutch Ovens any more. That has an entirely different meaning for the new generation.
