Argentcy colloidal silver induced blatherings are the greatest thing to ever happen to the cave

what should I make my lady friends for our puzzle party?

The one got pizza for help moving, but I was thinking of doing homemade pizza. Or tacos.

Tacos and dippy chips with this salsa. It's awesome.

Every time I go to some all female gathering, they always think we should have some dainty thing like a bunch of salads, which ironically usually have tons of mayo, cheese, and/or bacon, and I am always thinking dang, I'm old, I might break a hip or something, give me something with iron and calcium like meat. :spinny:

Tacos sound like a good plan because you can use a crock pot or roaster or something to keep the meat warm and have the toppings ready in advance. So you going green beans?

I don't have a fitbit to tell me I've been running my *** off tonight, but yeah, sorry, wxman...that house would be well over 3K even in the outer Iowa City area.

Gardeners of RTIV, what do you do to keep bunnies off your hostas?

We haven't seen one in our backyard since Leinie caught and killed the one. They are destroying our hostas in our front yard. TIA

Wish I knew how to keep them from eating the veggies in my garden. Our rabbits are numerous, large, and bold. They like to taunt the dog.

Rabbits - pffft!

I've been bringing my two begonias into the garage every night (they're in baskets sitting on a couple of large stumps) because the squirrels kept trying to dig up the roots despite my best efforts. The begonias are finally strong enough to beat out the squirrels, and are forming blooms (they're cardinal & gold...I'll find the pic of last years' blooms). Tonight I happened to look out the window & noticed that one basket was empty. At first I thought they were pulled up & dragged away. After searching the garden and cussing a blue streak I went back to the basket & found that the corms were still in the basket and the stems (which were a little under a half inch thick) were snapped off at the corm. Then I started noticing that half of the hosta bloom stems were snapped off along the edge of the garden. Yup. Deer have returned to the smorgasbord. AY YI YI!!! The surviving begonia has a heavy coating of Cayenne on it.

All rabbits must die. Unfortunately with all of the new neighbors with kids I think my days of sniping them out of the 2nd story window are over for awhile.

Been using some repellent spray I bought at Home Depot. Seems to work but it is expensive and you have to reapply and I would much rather kill the little bastards.

But my pet bunny Babe was adorable! (May he RIP)
