Just the message is so awesome but sad at the same time.

You don't truly understand hot until you've felt cold. You don't know happiness unless you've felt sadness. And if you've had that peak of happiness, how do you know if you'll ever get to that point again. Really deep song.

Of course, some think it's just about sex as well. Although I'm pretty sure Grohl wrote it after longtime girlfriend left him.

I learned long ago (lived in another state that didn't allow selling beer on Sunday) that the solution to the problem was to stock up on Saturday night. A definite PIA, but you do what you gotta do.

I question this story as liquor stores aren't open in Indiana on Sundays.....
 
CG about the house have you checked to see if you need a water softener? Just filled a couple today and it made me wonder about your new house.

Sounds kinda ****ing emo, to me. Don't go emo on me, pants.
 
Going back to an earlier question from Pantsy...RT is a little different than CF at large because we have spent over a year getting to know one another. Familiarity with each others' personalities lets us know what we can say in here that might be misconstrued by those who don't know us as well...

And in general, we're not nutbars, which at times also seems different from the CF population at large.

Speaking of women and dinner. My wife seems to have the bad habit of picking up EVERY phone call. Today, she saw who was calling (someone we know will talk for an hour, at least) and she picked it up right before dinner. She's been on the phone for 45 minutes already. **** this, I'm not waiting anymore. Dinner time for me.
