I saw two of the evil hosta ravaging rabbits last night and again tonight. They were lurking in the neighbor's yard across the street. They were about the size of small polar bears.

Rabbits in our yard as big as Harvey. I think they are all knocked up.

Boxster, get yourself a pellet gun and drop them little bunnies. One by Gamo will do a fine job of giving you the start of a fine rabbit stew.

There isn't a lateral position on first shift? :(

There are, unfortunately they are all
th

And with a few of them, it's really only that and not much more.

I'd take my boss's job in a heartbeat. The higher you go, the easier the job, as long as you're good at politicking.

And that's what makes me want to punch people in the throat. I'm a 'do'-er, I need to touch things, but I'm also very good at understanding interactions within a system, whether that be human or process. If X happens, I can see that Y and Z will follow, as long as I've seen the system work. So, I could do the leader thing from that standpoint, but I can't just talk all day, I need a sense that X happened because I went to work that day, and I've never had that feeling when talking or sitting in meetings.

How much is the salary? Maybe we can do a co-boss thing and split the salary. 60/40, 60 to me, obviously.

00, so what was bubble guppies or whatever you were talking about the other day? I'm assuming some kind of kid show.

I shot one last year but shooting opportunities are limited with all of the neighbors out and about all of the time. Can't very well shoot across the street at one not in my yard. My "kill zone" is the side yard from the window or side door.

Scrambled eggs, bacon and a biscuit with grape jelly are the food of the gods if you have been unable to contemplate even taking a bite of anything since Thursday night!

I AM! My lungs are clearing up, the sepsis is under drug control, I can walk by myself (believe me when I say I know JUST how the mayor felt in that clip). Primary & urologist both say I can go home today. :)

Both want me to stay home - work from home this week if I need to work. It's still busy season, so I will probably do some stuff at home. Sometime after next Friday I'll go down to a facility in Des Moines, get the one scooped out of the ureter and the others pounded into smaller pieces to get them out of there, and I should be back to whatever passes for normal for me. Light at the end of the tunnel. :)

I am SO glad to hear that. Was getting worried yesterday......sepsis isn't something to mess around with. Hopefully this means pain is under control and you can get some good rest at home! Weren't you just talking last week about Papalew ignoring kidney stone pain for a long, long time?

No, I couldn't believe how much it knocked me back. Couldn't sit up long enough to type. Visitors were pointless because I was asleep probably most of the time that they weren't poking me, measuring me, or whatever.

I had no warning on this though. Last time, I had four days of "gas cramps" that came & went before they didn't go away again and I went to the hospital. This time, I had some bladder pressure for a few days and I thought I was getting a UTI. Then Friday morning, 6 am, the cramps started...and by 11 I was at Story County ER. By 6 I was at Mary Greeley being prepped for surgery. It was pretty much wham bam thank you maam...
