Random thoughts III

All rabbits must die. They must be destroyed even before Kansas. Die rabbits die. I am going to kill them all.

The little bastards totally annihilated a dozen or more of my earliest hostas that popped up over the weekend. Chewed down to the ground. Sprayed some Liquid Fence on them this morning but it is too late.

Mess with a landscape architects landscape and it ain't gonna be a pretty reaction. Ranks right there with vandalize my Porsche. Just sayin'.
 
Thanks for reminding me to get my Liquid Fence on, Boxster. Sorry about your hostas. Good news is they are basically a weed - like Ahnold, they will be back.

Easier to bounce back later in the year when the rabbits eat at individual leafs. The little furry ****ers chewed down the terminal buds to the ground on some. They will be significantly screwed up for the whole year.
 
so that day I said it was baby hailing, they did say on the news that night that we got brief hail. Today appears to be sleet. I think I know the difference now. The hail was mixed in with rain, this sleet is all of the precipitation falling right now. And it's smaller.

The fiancee and I have tried to figure out where things when wrong. We asked her to photograph our wedding, this was the response we got. We responded, asking she at least do us the courtesy to explain herself and how she came to the decision to not photograph our wedding (essentially turning down our thousands of dollars.) Got an e-mail back from her yesterday, but it was nothing. It didn't say anything. It was just a blank e-mail.

You should see the little bastards running around the golf course at the in-laws...I counted 8 of them running around with no hesitation at all at one point. Told the FIL he should start trapping them, they wouldn't have to buy meat for a month, and then sell the pelts...

Maybe she found a more lucrative gig that weekend. Each date is a perishable commodity for anyone in the event business. Be that as it may, it sucks for you. Hopefully you can find an even better one.

My neighbor traps but then releases them in a park about a mile and a half away. I'm thinking about getting a BB or pellet gun, but I'm concerned a tree hugging neighbor might call Johnny Law on me.

Which we would understand. If she's offered by someone else to buy one of her bigger photography packages that pays more, by all means take it. We just ask for some honesty so we're not left wondering. Sending blank e-mails gives off an unprofessional vibe.
 
think I'm going to be cold this weekend. In a dress. Outdoors. But I think I may try out a running trail through a park. Hopefully I don't die.
