Catching up on this thread is almost like DVR'ing something awesome and watching it later.

KC - I have no idea if there are any single women on here, but I bet WDSM knows who they are...where they live...what they're wearing right now, etc

Mtown - puppy gif went un-commented on, but that was damn cute.......ha ha ha ha

Boxter - That friggin song had me stumped. I kept thinking it had to be Seger. I love a good music test though.

Stormchaser - I'm glad your weather is nice, but living near a cemetery.....hell no

Revkah - one Billy Idol song? White Wedding, Rebel Yell, ok, that's all I got

Birdy - my daughter is almost completely top 40, but I caught her singing along with me to some 311 and Paul Simon.

00 - nice scimitar reference. There would far less liquor store robberies if clerks wielded scimitars. Or chainsaws, yeah, that would be badass

Cash - what's the big day?

Velo - teach your daughter the throat punch defense next time one of her friends makes fun of her for dissing Bohemian Rhapsody

Ring and Pantsy - Clapton is awesome. He just makes it look so easy.

CG - Get your future roof covered by hail insurance. Also look into collision insurance for your house in case a certain spouse parks in the garage. And I had to look up IANAW, so thanks for making me feel old.

I snorted at that first part. IANAW is a rip-off of IANAL which is "I am not a lawyer". I subbed in W for "weatherman".

I think we have that weather type insurance already. They made us pay insurance of some kind already - think it was actually home owner's but for while you are building. So for the structure and not contents since we are paying those under our renter's right now.

If you had put IANAL in there, I would have been laughing too hard to type anything else.

Hey guys, remember, we need to keep CG entertained tonight, since Mr. Cowgirl is gone.

I'm going to stop at the library quick and see if they have anything new. And maybe pull out the box of old clothes I haven't gone through since about sophomore year to get a donate pile going.

Exciting evening planned!

After the rum gets flowing, we're gonna need picture proof that any of that stuff still fits.

I think people get caught up too much in Hendrix and don't recognize how technically perfect Clapton is.

I think this is true, and also part of the times...Hendrix's free-wheeling "holy crap, how did he do that" fit better with the late '60s and '70's than Clapton's "technical perfection" as you put it.

oh you do not want to see that. I probably weigh the same or less than high school but my sense of style was not very present.

But do you ever wonder what Hendrix would be like if he was around as long as Clapton? And sometimes, passion is better than technically perfect.

Pantsy, to paraphrase KC:

Look man, you can listen to Jimi but you can't hear him. There's a difference man. Just because you're listening to him doesn't mean you're hearing him.
