I follow way too many dessert bloggers on FB. Someone posted a recipe for peanut butter bars today and I thought I would just whip up a half batch for a snack since my girls were home early from school today. Start making them and I am out of peanut butter. What? Run to the grocery store to get pb. Thought about getting them donuts as well as I walked by them, but then thought "It is Ash Wednesday, we shouldn't really be snacking anyway". Went ahead and made the bars, they have to sit in the freezer for 15 min.

I can see food being delivered from where I sit and the Jimmy John's people run. Pizza Hut and Hy-Vee people don't run. Granted, it's probably easier to run with a sandwich bag than a pizza or catering platter.

24 minutes, in a town of 60,000, at 3:30pm on Wednesday, with store 2.2 miles away. I could have drove there and back twice. I ordered one sub, chips and a drink.
