need a woman's perspective here... why are there so many women with big, undefined upper arms? Here is an example.

Is it a bad diet, no exercise, or what? My wife commented on how many women have really bad arms at the same time they aren't really fat.

women have higher body fat then men do. On top of that, they aren't as muscular as men are. The girl on the left has low BF, it looks like she doesn't lift. Girl on the right has high BF and doesn't either.

I think it's time to have my gas turned on. I didn't for the first six months because all it's for is my hot water heater and I actually really enjoyed cold showers in the morning during the summer. But now that it's not 90 degrees by 7am anymore, these morning showers are ice cold. I've got to pump myself up in the morning just to get in.

A.) I'm pretty sure my roomate is gay so I wouldn't be doing any cockblocking
B.) They weren't hot so they weren't worth my time

Get pumped up!

BU hope you get feeling better. CG gives good advice 7-up and bland foods, I always had good luck with saltine crackers, then pudding after I got feeling a little better. KC hope you are improving.

FYI> This is Craig Ferguson's last week on the air. DVR is set for me, even if it's just for the monologues or the banter between him and Geoff.

Our busy but productive weekend os quickly catching up with me. Just have to get through another hour...

i think think it is a combo of genetics and exercise. For the longest time, all you heard about was cardio--you had to do cardio to lose weight. When I lost weight in my 20's I walked/jogged and took some local community ed aerobics classes. Now things are shifting more to a "strong is the new skinny" for some people. Now that I am creeping up on 40 and have had 4 kids, I try to do more strength and HIIT and much less cardio. But I also think I have some natural definition to my biceps, probably due to genetics. I carry my weight in other places, not my arms. And I like to try and rock the arms, so I focus more on them (free weights, push ups, planks).

For you peeps in college, good luck with finals! Mrs. Claus needs to go into full-on Christmas mode, so I may miss much of the fun this week. Finishing up gifts, baking, cleaning, packing for 6 for a Christmas road trip, class parties, teacher gifts--need to quit wasting time on the interwebz. ;)
