Usual late night crew? Stormchaser2014 with the weather forecast, Carvers4math with the Dear Abby section, Rulzzz with sports?
The funny thing about it is that people assume my wife and I are the same race all the time (since we look somewhat similar: skin color, hair color, etc). I try to not get too hung up on all that stuff anyway.I can identify. Our oldest son's FIL met his wife while stationed in South Korea, so two of our granddaughters are 1/4 Korean...which explains their silky black hair, bow shaped mouths and slightly exotic eyes.
For the eastern Iowa fans. The ISU volleyball team is having spring scrimmage against Illinois at Mt. Vernon high school tomorrow at one. Great chance to see two top 15 teams for free!
All the time. He is a riot, always playing jokes on everyone and has a great sense of humor. It's hard to keep a straight face and try to discipline him because he's always making us laugh. Not sure why he was so serious that day.
Sadly, the late night posting is something I'm getting out of...When I was a manager, I'd come home and go downstairs and read a little or post a little, maybe have a few beers to wind down after work, and I continued it after switching out of managing, but it was turning into watch a little TV,and a little more TV...I was regularly going to bed at 2:30 or 3, and getting up at 6:30 or 7...the math don't work out on that.
About a month ago, I committed to getting into bed as soon as I get home. Now, I do still read some on my tablet, and I'm not barred from having a beer or glass of wine, but the TV and the posting and staying up waaay to late are pretty well gone now. I do miss those late night posting jam sessions, but overall I'm much better. I am going to have to be careful to not make use of the Roku remote with the headphones on it so you can have the TV silent and just listen thru the headphones....
Looks like we've got our first listener/caller. Will kill time while waiting in that tree for CG to get up and use the bathroom.
My late night schedule depends on how many kids are still out and allergy and old lady issues.
All of a sudden everyone has a ton of excuses. This podcast was dead before it even got off the ground.
