I know this has been gone over before and I don't mean to attack BU or 2015 because I believe they both work. I have never understood how so many students can afford these trips.
$500 gas, $2600 beach house = $3100 split 8 ways = $387 a piece without food or alcohol. 2 weeks of tutoring will get you there (which is what all my friends did, tutored last semester)
Yeah, but plus 600 for alcohol.
Me and my buddies used to go to Carolina Beach ever year because one of their brothers owned a beach house there and would only charge is the cost of the cleaning service when we were done (like, 150 bucks). Between the 5 of us, that was like 30 bucks the entire week. Yet I still, in my drunken week long stupor, would still somehow end up spending about 800 bucks that week.
I never really priced it out. Spending that much time in a car is also not really my thing either. Have a great trip!
