If you would have been cool enough to know me you could add another to the list...

DO YOU HAVE A BABY?!

You were just babysitting for pedi's yesterday, do you have a baby?!

one of the friends must have moved fast. She was asking one of the others how they got labor to start at night and then the morning of the 13th. Post today that the baby was born yesterday. She must have had a fast labor!

another (high school friend's new niece) just hit the page. What was in the water last May?

Haha not yet...but within the week I will.

So...... do all toddlers have a stage where they start the "let's wake up way too early", or is it just a weird thing that hopefully just happens every once in awhile?

Besides the horrible wind this morning, the running went pretty well and I only had to stop twice for the nose to get unclogged from my cold. The rest of the day was pretty good.

Mexico and Chile both seem like a nice warm place to hide right now though.

Is the due date next week or did you say that there was an inducement date? I can't wait to hear the good news that the baby is here.

you went running today?! DH joked to me that I should and I told him that was crazy. You are such a trooper! I believe wxman said they are being induced at 37 because she has high BP?

Yeah, five week testing for the newbies. Being a coach I had to be there.... it was worse than running through the snow. Yet, I did get to encourage someone to go faster and run more than walk, so I think I helped.

Thanks for remembering! They would definitely want to keep an eye on her after the sugary she had too. Hopefully she won't have to have a C=Section. (unless it's healthier for them both)

yeah I think it had to do with the appendectomy. Was reading a story about a woman who had pre-eclampsia happen after the birth. Didn't know that could happen!

That is weird. Probably hormone issues. ugh. I think I was told that I could have hormone swings up to six months after birth which seems like a really long time to still be an issue.

House problem of the day - do we really want/need shower heads at their standard height of 88 inches? How much flow is 2.5 gal/minute? Will it still be warm by the time it falls all the way to me?

Another place is going to bid out our cabinets, our peep suspects they will be cheaper than the other because they want to get more of our builder's business. Great! Bad is we went and saw their options today and they don't have the color we like :( Door styles are great though. Girl mentioned they can do custom stains but that sounds expensive. Guess we'll see what the quote comes back at and what a custom stain would be. Then have to see.

Good news: went and looked at counter material again........it has dropped $10/sq ft from last time because they did some repricing. Some went up, ours went down! They were already better priced than other places so maybe that unexpected price drop would pay for a custom stain.....

and our house is a bit less open air now. Has roof trusses up!

PapaLew is about 10 inches taller than me, and the boys are all taller than him. I don't like using those hand held sprayers to get shampoo out of my long hair, so we found a hinged shower head that we LOVE. I can have it down close to my hair, and he can have it above his shoulders. If DH is much taller than you you should look into those...

the hormone one I've heard before but I just thought pre-e was a pre-partum thing only. Guess not. I suppose it's what they had one of the Downton Abbey daughters die of but that's what I figured - only happened in non-pre natal monitoring times.

That would require research. I thought the same thing. Maybe labor caused the blood pressure to jump more and that is how they diagnosed it.

DH is 11 inches taller, haha. We discussed having the main bath shower head be lower and the lady is like "your kids will probably be taller than you guys", ha! Think we're going to at least pull it down to 84 starting height and then I guess the shower head comes out and down another 6. So we measured tonight and that would put it a couple inches above his head yet, but still within my reach to move around. Many jokes were made about me just showering on a step stool and I said no.
