Random thoughts III

Wondering stuff this morning in the midst of my Michigan induced boredom.

Am I on anyone's ignore list?

How much will my own ignore list grow this week?

If I post without applying my norm "filter" (aka going full Boxster) will I get banned for the first time this week?

If I golf in the Quad Cities Tuesday with my Cyclone club covers displayed will I shrug off the first golfhawk a-hole comment about ISU and Hoiberg or will I drop an f-bombed laced retort and go all scorched earth?

Quoting this so Boxster can see if he's on anyone's ignore list, since he didn't think out that asking it wouldn't matter as the people whose list he's on wouldn't see him ask the question since he's on ignore.

True that but I am just bored and wondering and musing more than asking.

Did I mention the boredom is upon me? And that this wedding weekend is never ending, brunch today and then a boring hours on the road.

Please don't ignore me. Kbye.

Fred's daughter prob knew all along and that is why she didn't go to ISU--she would be crucified by fans asking why Fred left.

Just think, the Otzs could become the first family of ISU basketball. Alison can join Bill in WBB, grooming her to become the next head coach. They have boy/girl twins who will eventually play for their parents. Oh wait, we know how that story ends . . .

I don't know, people have said the family is staying when he leaves? That seems strange. I guess NBA coaches are on the road all the time anyway.

went for my first run in at least a month - way better than I thought it would be. 3.4 at a 9:26 pace.

Had a party at a friends' house last night, then Mrs. had to work in the nursery at late mass this morning, so she went early, then took the kids to nursery while I went to late mass.

Was kind of hanging out in back waiting for another friend who would have his two boys by himself since his wife was working nursery with Mrs. and noticed there weren't any ushers hanging out that I saw. Asked the greeter, he said there weren't, so I figured since I was by myself anyway, I could help.

No bowl in back to put the eucharists in to take up for gifts, so during the homily we were going thru cupboards trying to find something that would work and wouldn't look goofy.

The family that was supposed to take up gifts didn't show up, so myself and the other 2 volunteer ushers had to take them up. On the way up the aisle, I see the priest whispering to the deacon "they got the wrong bowl" out of the corner of his mouth, deacon turns around and sees the real bowl on the table behind the altar. Fr. says "you found something to work, eh?" to us with a wink as we present the gifts.

So...a much more adventurous trip to church this morning than I had anticipated when I woke up.

As I come to peace that Hoiberg is leaving, I had this sudden realization...

He's going to have to sing the 7th inning stretch at Wrigley in the near future.

Maybe he'll dance instead.
