Random Thoughts 17: Here we go again.

Not really, we were calling for a T but it was nothing egregious.
We were confused about why BRE got uncontested FTs twice, but never saw any technicals called. We kind of zipped through the recording and finally figured out that the same kid (#2) bear-hugged him two different times and got called for "intentional fouls" both times.

@Ms3r4ISU - we also noticed that from the camera side (your side) we couldn't really see the tantrum signals that the one ref did over on your sideline, Don't remember the Iowa player, but it was just before halftime and he was complaining to the ref as he ran toward the ISU basket. The ref stomped his feet a couple of times and scrunched his eyes with his fists in a "crybaby" style. We were up there saying "did he really do what we think we just saw???"

Ah, shoot, I missed that. Would be glorious to see though :)

Under 2 minutes, first half. It goes by really fast; the teams are running down to the ISU basket, and the Iowa guy is close to the camera-side sideline, shouting at the ref as he goes by. Watch the ref's feet & you'll catch it.
Watching at home you saw Squawk players whining to the refs a lot during dead ball situations

Sitting in Hilton I did, too. Kinda funny. Only one time did I really notice Fran on the floor, and as it turned out I think he asked the officials to review whether the second made basket (in the game) was a three rather than the signaled two. It was changed.

I am just an unsophisticated Midwestern small town born savage but drinking decent wine without the accompaniment of decent cheese is barbaric. You can't have one without the other.

Door dash would probably get you a chunk of cheese.

Daughter, grandma and others are doing their Christmas cookie baking day today. What’s the o/u on the number of pounds I gain over the next week?

@Ms3r4ISU you might find this funny:
Normally I don't do grammar nazi stuff on FB but sometimes jackarses who lecture others need to have their bubbles popped.

Bozo on FB yesterday told someone with a typo (vasic instead of basic) that she "should of" proof read or used spell check. I replied with "should of"? and he proceeded to get pissy and lecture me about grammar and how "should of" and "should have" are equally acceptable usage. I pointed out that "should've" was what he was going for...

He deleted his posts.

On FB or CF it should have been "shoulda".

I can actually accept that as a "colloquialism" to some extent. I mean, I use "kinda" and "sorta" at times...

But using "of" to replace "have" in a contraction makes my left eye twitch, especially in a post lecturing someone else about their English skills. :D

Saw newspapers in neighbors driveway yesterday so picked them up and saw a package on their porch when dropped the papers their. Grabbed the package and texted them, figured they were gone. And, yup, gone and they asked me to grab the package. And three more today. Cool except the 2x2x3 one was awkward and HEAVY. Woof, about as much as old man me could lift. Seriously, a porch pirate would have passed on it, too heavy.
