I hope you don't have hairy arms...
Just reminds me of a scene from a movie about law students years ago, The Paper Chase. They were discussing a lawsuit brought by a guy who had a severely burned hand. Doctors did a skin graft that took...but the guy ended up with a burned and hairy hand. It's a real case, too...Hawkins v. McGee. No, I didn't have it memorized. I had to google it.
I'll bet @WooBadger18 and @CloneLawman know it, though.
Our "Maverick" bears a strong resemblance to Wolverine, only taller & skinnier. He has the hair and "chops" for it, tho...
Little younger then. But I have no issues with a younger grandma if need be.
Made me realize, there could be classmates of mine who will be great grandmas soon. Girls in my class were active girls.
I have no idea how it all works, I can taste stuff though. At least I didn't have any wrist tattoos
Truth. I am sort of acclimated to the heat and it was below 70 in the house when I got up and I am wearing a fleece jacket inside. That hasn't happened in some time and it's not going to warm up much outside, it's cloudy cloudy cloudy.
That's one thing I'm not...

#1 (28) is not even dating, doesn't like the idea of having kids.
#2 (22) is in a steady relationship, but no marriage and/or kids planned yet.
#3 (20) is living with a guy, but no marriage and/or kids planned yet.
#4 (20) is, well, living at home, going to college and not dating.
The rest are 17 down to 10 years old...and I HOPE none of them have immediate pregnancy plans!
#4 might have a rude awakening after college with the cost of rent and probably needing a roomie.
She has led a very sheltered and structured life. They were not even allowed to play in their FENCED back yard without one of their parents out there with them. And all of their extra-curriculars have been planned for them and supervised by their parents.
Don't get me wrong - being a protective parent is not all bad. But after spending five days with them last month, it was clear to us that these two girls simply don't the skills yet to function outside their home and church, and it's not looking good for that to change.
I thought about you -- and not hearing from you for a while -- and was going to ask. Thanks @NWICY for checking.
My sister had a classmate. Her daughter was a classmate of mine. (16-17 year old mom). My classmate had a kid at 17. I believe her daughter got pregnant right around that age also. I’m 51, 52 in a month. So she was parent at 17-18, grandparent around 35-36. If they keep the family tradition alive…….. she was also a neighbor growing up. I guess I missed out on riding my bike over and getting entertained. She was cute.
Could have been an expensive (bike) ride.

I was in church talking to her step MIL. Said we were classmates and neighbors; was polite and spoke well of her. I asked what she’s doing and such. Something seemed off. I then asked if she was still married to her step son. Well, i found out the reason for the awkwardness, she wasn’t.

I wouldn't be surprised if families have to live together a lot longer due to this. Parents will struggle to pay for their own homes. Their kids will struggle to find anything. Extended time might be more the norm than the exception soon.
Yeah...I'm stoked! What's fun is we start the trip in Istanbul with a Whirling Dervish performance and dinner, and end the trip in Athens with a dinner including traditional Greek dancing & breaking of plates.
