Went to the Ames pool with my son last week. Had FB camp in the AM, hit pool in the PM. There is a hell of a trend with high rise in the ass bikini bottoms. Some times, women shouldn’t wear them but the ones that should have them on make up for it tenfold.

Now that I am through the Marion fly-in the next big aviation even in a busy July is July 20th at Mason City. Paging Aviation and history geeks (Cough @BoxsterCy cough). This is the third thursday grill out and being just a couple of days before airventure it is the largest one of the year. This year Doc (recently restored B-29) and That's All Brother (lead C-47 on D-Day) will be present that evening. As long as the weather cooperates yours truly will also be flying in.

Waiting for two VBS counselors to show up. Wife agreed to host two while they are helping out from riverside camp. Two boys so they get our downstairs bedroom and an air mattress down there. They can figure it out. They had an odd one last year, hoping it’s not him this year.

Spent some time on an ice cream run on the butzbus yesterday with some good friends. First butzbus trip since covid started. Good times.

Except for one little thing...
One couple has been heavily involved with CY Stephens & Fisher Theater (and Hilton back before Pollard's AD took over management of that). @VeloClone knows the hubby. He's pretty mellow, go with the flow; she hates Pollard and everything he does...takes it personally because she doesn't give a crap about sports, only the arts. So she corners me and hits me with "sooooo, what's your opinion of CyTown?" and I'm just looking around for an escape because I know it's not an honest question, she just wants to rant about Pollard ruining everything again. Oy! I tried to talk about it as diplomatically as possible, but I finally said "you know - we're just NOT going to agree on this; let's drop it." She got a couple more licks in and I moved to a different seat on the butzbus. I hate it when she does that. I like them as a couple; they're coming over next Friday for a game night...but one on one with out hubby as a buffer she can really make me crazy. AITA?
