I’m the opposite, if it doesn’t fit in my pocket, I don’t want it. I see some guys who look like they have an iPad mini case attached to their belt. Always leaning to one side so it doesn’t hit their armpit.

I get bigger for people who use their phones for entertainment streaming and lots of web work or something. For me it just a phone with a nice camera that can text so I am looking for pocket size.

The 14 (not 14pro) was barely measurably larger than the 8. It's just that more of the phone is now screen.

The heck with Boxster - cinematographically speaking, that's the greatest movie ever made (IMO).
I think my comment got lost after the tweet so I am posting it again along with this clip from the Russian film:

I find it interesting that two of the greatest epic films from this era (in my opinion) - LOA and Doctor Zhivago - both star Omar Sharif.

I think what makes DZ great is all of the quiet moments of beauty in the madness and chaos of war and revolution. In addition it does a great job of portraying the vastness of the Russian countryside.

This is better than the original trailer at showing it but is far from giving it justice...

Just for fun. This is the unbeaten map...

Yet again iowa will have a flyover tomorrow. Seems like it is rare for them to not have one the last few years.

Well, 2 more I’ve never seen.

A little something @BoxsterCy might enjoy from the tweeter.

Two shots stand out to me in that movie, the long distance one at the well and this one. This one on a big screen and with big sound in a theater is awe inspiring starting with the match being blown out and the famous scene cut.

I get cold just thinking about Dr. Zhivago.

Is it just me, or does anyone else here the announcer say "Tamin - uh Lipsey" after Tamin does something really good? It drives me nuts because it seems like he's not enunciating clearly. There are only two syllables in the first and last names, and neither are particularly difficult to pronounce.
I think it's more like him dragging out the L - Tamin LLLLLLipsey.

I just watched a mama white tail walk up the hill between me & the shop. I didn't know they could have triplets! After they wandered on up to the lane and out of view, along came daddy. 6-8 pt buck; it was hard to tell in the flat light with a grey/brown grass background.

I could watch them all day.

Hadn't noticed but I'm guessing I will now.

Now I want to have people listen to me talk about watching Bill Cain play in the old Armory.

BTW, Eric Heft is getting pretty old for a broadcast guy, only a class behind me. I saw him play on the freshman team in the old Armory back before the freshman were eligible for "varsity" and before Hilton opened. We usually went to the freshman game because two Dana House guys were on the team.

I think Eric still does a great job on the broadcasts hope he stays with it. Grew up listening on the radio and I'm good even now listening to them over some mediocre broadcast team and TV. BUT I'm the exception to the rule.

8/12 roofs aren't fun to walk on. Next house is 6, which will be a lot easier.

Not sure I'd be up on my roof in my 70's if it weren't a 4/12. Not many owners go up on the roof to talk to the roofing crew, let alone an old guy like me. Think that surprised them.

Edit; Got me thinking of my parents house and why no one wanted to work on it. 12/12 or maybe a smidge steeper with four big valleys.

Looks like a 10. I thought it'd be scarier walking on an 8, but it's not as bad as I thought.

I wonder what my old boss would say about me roofing. He always said that's something he'd never do and I always said me neither, but now I'm doing it, just the plywood sheeting though.
