Random Thoughts 17: Here we go again.

Jaws I achieved ace status today with his 5th mouse kill of the year. Will see if my mouse disposal method of leaving them on the garden path works in this rain.

Jaws II is stuck on one kill.

I caught another skunk early yesterday morning. It was dead this morning. I baited with an apple and a dead rat. I think the rat may have been poisoned, so I’m wondering if the rat transferred the poison to the skunk when it was eaten. I was going to get a tarp and try to let it out today. Saved me from possibly getting sprayed.

Entirely possible. It's why you don't want to use those poisons anywhere that your pets can get to either the poison or its victims. Some poisons don't dissipate as rapidly after ingestion and death.
 
I know next to nothing about make-up, especially when I was a tween. But, there was a substitute hygentist(sp?) at my orthodontist during one of my visits. (Removes the bands around the braces' brackets and the wire before the ortho looks at your teeth) She had some eyebrow hairs...very sparse and very light...but she drew these pencil thin ones half an inch above her natural eyebrow line. Hard not to notice when she's inches from my face.

My FIL had some skin cancer so they removed some skin on his forehead above both eyes so he ended up with a couple of scars that looked exactly like that. They faded over time but for the first year or so it looked like he was trying to replicate that look.
 
Well it was double red donations today, the site manager at my blood center quit and moved onto other things. Only 2 people there that I know now. The new lady is cute though.
 
Oh yeah and Orange juice was back, so that was a win! It had been apple only for like over a yr.

Saw the "official" ISU bus heading south on 235 as I drove home. Was pondering who was going where when I saw the second Windstar coach. (Followed by two more buses) Duh. Football team on the way to the airport to fly to Cincy. Said out loud "Bye guys! Beat the Bearcats!"

Nikki Haley will be in Pella next Saturday. Sure hope Richard finds out because political people keep texting one of our numbers and directing their messages to Richard. There is no one named Richard in my family, let alone me.

Todd likes DeSantos but Tim Scott has his interest also. Lauren is a trump person. Not sure on Marcy. Nikki will text me with no name but guessing it’s for Todd.
 
Well holy cow not impressed with WI offense, c'mon Badgers.

Had a welcome to the family party for the newly adopted great niece. Spaghetti, garlic bread, salad etc along with many desserts. It was a good day.
