Tomorrow for a day

It's now tomorrow and 35 with wind gusting to 41 mph. Not feeling the love I was expecting from the forecast from about three days ago. Was thinking it would melt my snow so I could bag leaves for a last pickup next Monday. Glad I did my up on the roof roof removal thingie Saturday.

@coolerifyoudid , have you hit up the Whattaburger in Lee's Summit yet?

Pro tip: Don't bother. Expensive, and not worth a 1.5 hour wait at the drive thru...

I'm on the other side of the city, so nah.

Growing up in TX, my wife clued me in on Whattaburger early on. We ate at one in TX and OK. Both were just ok. They sorta kinda reminded me of eating at an in-store A&W. My opinion is that they are pricier than other fast food places and a step up from McDonalds in quality.

I'm used to long lines at drive thrus down here, though. Chick-fil-A, Culvers and Freddies are always busy. I think someone could open up 10 more Chick-fil-As within 20 minutes of my house and they would all still be busy.

Whataburger needs to do something with their buns. Every time I’ve ate there, they seem like dry, day old ones that I got.

Speaking of Bambi's family...

During my daughter's recent ride to school with friends, they had a conversation about another friend that recently hit a deer. The young man that rides along stated something to this effect. "Deer are so stupid yet so smart. They're stupid because they run right out in front of moving cars. They're so smart because they are great at hiding when we go hunting. We can never find them. We really should just try to hunt deer by driving old cars around in the woods."

We had Whataburger at some point in one of our trips down south east. All I remember was how massive those burgers seemed to about 10 year old me.

I think that's a fair assessment of overall quality. They've definitely got a following in TX and the surrounding areas though. Never quite understood the cult like worship for some of these fast food places (In-N-Out in particular baffles me, especially with how long the lines always is).

Chick-fil-A is insane. When I was in TX there were 3 within 3 miles of our office (each in a different cardinal direction) and all of them were always busy. Line always moved surprisingly fast though.

Working in global supply chain is not real fun right now. I don't think it will get better anytime soon either.

Trying to buy a trailer for the EAA chapter and having a lot of issues finding one. One board member said "lets just wait prices are going to come down soon". She is a retired neurology professor. Another member who has spent 30+ years of his career in supply chain quickly shot that down.

I think everybody always wondered when lean principals were going to come back and bite us in the ass. Just in time supply chains work as long as you get your stuff just in time. Unfortunately it's going to take a long time to get things sorted back out and up to speed.

Didn't go to the game tonight because I haven't been feeling real sharp today. Watching this on the computer and it's making me nauseous. The score board is black for AL St and yellow for ISU. Get those freakin' hawkeye colors off my screen!!!

Similar to raccoons.

Pretty intelligent animal but can't figure out the danger of those bright fast moving lights.
