Kind of ironic that it is from Panama. Figure those guys would know a thing or two about navigating canals.
Those cargo ships are most likely 3 times the size they were when the canal was first built. Maybe larger.
My BIL, and, probably by transitive properties, my sister, have an African gray parrot named Smokey. BIL had Smokey for awhile before they got married, and they've actually discussed if they might have to leave Smokey to someone in a will.
My sister says the weirdest/creepiest thing Smokey's done (dunno if he still does it) is he'll say "Mom?", and sound exactly like my niece when he does it.

My wife and I have had a cockatiel for almost 20 years. They are great companions. Ours will wolf whistle at us occasionally.
My mom had a cockatiel years and years ago. What a strange bird, It would pull it's feathers out so it was naked everywhere it could reach. In the morning when you took the cover off the cage the first thing it would do is get to the edge of the cage and shoot it's poop out into the room.

Rory (the bird) will do it at random. It's part of his charm.

Not my bird.Really cute, but I doubt that bird would survive very long in your house. Meow.
I did have a blue parakeet named Pretty Boy when I was five. My father made me leave him behind when we moved from Ft Worth to Seattle.
