Today's word sounds bad, kind of like last night's WBB game ending, however, it's actually a positive. Still don't think I want anyone referring to me this way.

Yiddish provided me with two of my favorite pejoratives, and one series of exclamations:
Schmuck & Putz
Oy! & Oy vey! & Oy vey ist mir!

It's a wonderfully expressive language.

Side note: I'm probably guilty of cultural appropriation when I use them...but they are just SO perfect.

It's like I am an entirely different student doing MBA stuff compared to undergrad and before. Getting stuff done days in advance and starting a project a couple of weeks before it is due. Damn adulthood planning and responsibility.

Anyone else having problems with US Cellular? Both husband and my phone are acting up, and it won't let us update the apps that need updating.

Router here at home has been rebooted, and I've turned off and turned my phone back on. Nuttin'.

I just watched an ad for a company called bet rivers. It's a group of 20-somethings sitting on a couch, phones in hand, "watching" a basketball game. Granted, I'm not a gambler so it doesn't make sense to me at all...but NOT ONE OF THEM IS ACTUALLY WATCHING THE GAME. Bizarre. And they all cheer at the end of the commercial. How would they know something happened?

I did one of my favorite "It's not really an option but I have no idea WTF else to do" things and looked at different degrees today.
None of them would work out, since money, and nobody's hiring the new guy at 50+, but it was a good, sad little time.

We are not -- both have iPhones -- but I have been reading in various FB groups about others having absolutely no control of things on their phones.
Here's a screen shot of what I read from several different places to do. And a link that might help.https://www.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-smartphone-frequent-app-crashes-fix

Don't forget oy gevalt. Do you know what "putz" means? (grinning mischievously)

Welcome to 2021. :(

I've considered going back to get a PhD in educational leadership, but I'm not sure if I really want to go into administration and I'd have to do that for it to be worth the investment.
