My dad said that at his former job, he designed the transmission side cover for Fords, which is where the leak is, so I'll blame him.
We spent the afternoon wandering around Ames, scouting sites to see what caches are "winter-friendly" so that we have targets for future finds. Cache owners will designate their caches as winter firendly, then you find that they are under a low-growing bush in a corner of a lot where all of the snow has been pushed by the plows. Yeah. Winter friendly if you want to dig through 3 feet of hard packed snow!
I gotta be honest, I'm glad they found the leak.
It was low key in the back of my brain bugging me. I just couldn't think of where that much fluid could wander off to and not leave a trace.
Me too. I'm guessing it only leaked under pressure while driving/shifting so I would never be able to notice it. My boss was thinking it was the big round front seal.
I didn’t plan on getting drunk and going to Lowe’s (MrsWx drove) to get a new kitchen sink but here we are.

Got out to a trout stream today, think I saw my first turkey buzzard of the year although it seems kind of early. It was sunny when I spotted it and then didn't see it when the cloud cover came in so maybe it headed back.
Saw eagles, bunched up turkeys (flying awkwardly, haha) and got yelled at by a squirrel.
Sandhills and assortment of other birds will be back in about 3 weeks.

Most of those were actually credited as steals to. OSU had 16 steals. I'd say over half of those were just straight up picking our pocket or stripping us. Would have been a lower scoring game if both teams hadn't blistered the nets at 50% from three.
Sounds like MrsWx plied him with alcohol knowing she could get something out of it. Always thought it was the man trying to get the woman drunk to get her to agree. Definitely means you’ve been married for awhile.I feel like there's more to the story here, but we would need MrsWx to be telling it.
I don’t know how a new Fred/prohm fight thread can pop up every week and the same people argue the same things over and over and over every day.

I was hoping to camp in about a month but that's not as fun when there's 1/2 foot of snow on the ground.
